Become a member of High Country Chorus! 

When you become a member of High Country Chorus, you'll meet many wonderful, fun, talented, and helpful women! We'll provide the tools, music, and support you need to get started. You don't necessarily have to read music to join, as we have recordings, vocal training, and outstanding leaders on our resourceful Music Team, to partner with you all the way. You'll be on the risers with the other members singing, learning, and feeling challenged and excited. 

The audition process

You'll sing a few phrases of a simple song in private with a member of our directing team, who will then place you in the right voice part; Tenor, Lead, Baritone or Bass. A member of the High Country membership team will give you a music folder with our current repertoire. You'll be able to follow along with the sheet music while on the risers. We’ll check in with you to find out how you are doing and will offer help if you need it.

When ready to audition with one song from the chorus repertoire, you'll sing your part live with the chorus singing with you, while you record on your cell phone. The recording is sent to our director, and you will be contacted within a few days with feedback and a decision. Most of our prospective members pass the audition the first time.
